HOW DO I USE PET PROTECTOR?

Pet Protector is not a chemical product and it does not kill the parasite, but only protects your pet from parasite attacks. It is important that your pet is completely chemically cleaned of visible ticks and fleas, and especially their larvae before placing the Pet Protector disc.
7-20 days (depending on pet’s size) is a period of "receiving" the frequency from the Pet Protector disc, which is why it is important that your pet does not have any larvae of the parasite, which could acclimatise to the new frequency and continue breeding. OTHERWISE, PARASITE LARVAE WILL ACCLIMATISE TO THE NEW ENVIRONMENT, BECOME RESISTANT AND CONTINUE TO REPRODUCE.

WILL PET PROTECTOR WORK IN HIGHLY INFESTED AREAS?
High infestation areas are always going to require a multi-faceted approach. It is important to remember that our products are a non-toxic approach and will probably take longer to work than conventional poisons. Your pet must be flea free to begin with, and you will need to treat the environment as well. You can use non-toxic products in your home and garden to reduce the fleas there as well. (google diatomaceous earth or lime for flea treatment). Also, if your pet’s health has been compromised by poison, medicine or surgery, this may increase the length of time it takes for the disc to activate.
CAN I STOP GIVING MY DOG HIS HEARTWORM MEDICATION?
NO, we do not recommend that you use Pet Protector Discs in place of heart worm or any other medicine necessary for the health of your pet. Although mosquito bites will be reduced by the Pet Protector disc, there is still a chance that your dog will get bitten.
MY PET PROTECTOR DISC HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT, BUT WHY AM I NOW SEEING FLEAS?
Sometimes you may have great results from your Pet Protector disc for months and months, and then suddenly fleas start to appear again. It is likely that you have an infestation, even though your pet was flea free, they can quickly invade your home by hitching a ride on clothing, be carried in by other animals, such as bats, rats, possums etc. You will need to re-treat your dog or cat, and your home in order to keep the population down. Our discs do not actually kill the pests and therefore, it offers no home protection from fleas or ticks. You don’t have to use toxic chemicals to get it back under control, the garden can be treated with products such as diatomaceous earth or lime (google for directions), frequently vacuum the house and installation of flea traps to eliminate any fleas which are brought into the house and fall off the animals. Toxic chemical treatments will always work faster than natural alternatives, but it is worth the extra effort to safeguard your pet and family’s health against nasty poisons.
